It’s another issue of the steadily increasingly popular Works Magazine!

Slow news day today – so here is a random clip posted up yesterday of someone… er…. testing the new Jaguar XF-R, the 510bhp super saloon (with 6 speed DSG, LSD and loads of lock) that’s currently storming the market. Honestly, this is one of the best cars I’ve ever driven.

Gina from FreekyGeeky sent us in this awesome little dude called Socks who is the latest member of staff in the DW office. He’s in charge of making things are running smoothly when Phil and James are out of the office. He’s clearly the highest qualified of the team.

The pro’s have got their photos up now – but most of the guys are putting them onto posh blogs like Speedhunters and Motormavens you’ve probably already seen them. Tucked away in the background of the forum are the photos from Paddy McGrath, in the top 5 of drift photographers in Europe in my opinion. I know, they’re on SH too, but they’re fab.

There will be a video along at some point I expect (:D) but for now, that will do.

Well, the cinematography is certainly upto scratch… but has the whole Gymkhana series become a brand in itself worthy of a hip hop video dedicated to it? Perhaps… perhaps it’s a bit pretentious. But we’re down with that – stuff like this does good things for the car world, even if it is a rally car.

At any rate, we have a good idea about what to expect from Part 2 – or whenever the actual stunt show is released.

Wow – lots of photos and talk going on with this event then! None the less – I liked it!

Again – as I was filming most of the day with the 5D, I didn’t get any shots of Trela who did a spectacular win against Colfer in the finals, but I did manage to get some more photos of cars and stuff…

A big scale free to enter competition for anyone who’s taken a photo with a camera of a drift related thing! We’ve had literally about 100 photos submitted already from around the world, we’re seriously impressed and we’re only a couple of weeks into the competition… so here are the rules and regs again for those of you who still haven’t entered.
