A day in the Office: Part 6

It’s so hot. Like, ridiculously hot. Ice cream melts instantly. Tyres are getting up to race temps just cruising to work. Air con is not yet installed.

Outside DW – A chilled weekend at Driftworks, before BDC Round 2 at Silverstone. Phil and Al’s cars sit outside cooking slowly in the sun. Oh for a convertible.

Downstairs, Dan Chapman was up to collect some more tyres whilst Bon makes some more adjustments to the R32′s exhaust manifold. You’ll be pleased to know the car is up and running again after smashing a drive shaft at Japfest last weekend. That will teach Bon for clutch kicking in 4th with 15PSI with 285 section cut slicks.

It’s not all fun and games though – here is our fun game place. We’re currently re-living the awesomeness that is Live for Speed, with drift angle mods and fully networked for twinning practice.

Meet the newest member of the DW Garage – Bought for Birmingham Universities Motorsport Engineering course. They are going to be building a fully prepared, fully Driftworks suspensioned sideways machine which we will bring in much closer detail soon. Not bad for a uni-project eh? :)

    Woah, really interested in the uni project car. I’m going to be doing a similar course. I hope we get to do something like that. I’ll be following this.

    Thats sick! that BMW is great, never knew you guys played LFS :P Might have to join ya sometime n check out your mad entrys! Bet Phil is used to it with his insane lock on the S15…btw guys, any chance i could get 1 of them wheels to put on my G25? :P

    you guys got an online server? nobody runs the lock mod much these days as everybody realised they can’t drift with more than 30 degree’s lol :\
