A day in the office: Part 13

It’s all go at DWHQ today – the new shop is in place, and aside from some small bugs, it’s all running super smooth, so now you can do amazing things like search for wheels by offset, or width – plus literally tonnes of other things. We’re also going to be able to dramatically increase our stock now and offer you hundreds of new products – something which the new building and shop was always for in the first place…

Back to the workshop though, and as usual, the frustration of not having enough time to finish the R32 again finally released the BonRage, and we ended up having to sedate him with Wham Bars.

Luke Fink dropped in to say hi and chat all things drift. He’s got a very simple attitude to drifting, go hard or go home – which to be fair, is exactly how he drives. He’s been right at the heart of a lot of controversial drifting since he’s been in the UK, but really only because we’ve got very few drivers who can actually match him yet, certainly during tandem runs.

Josh Allen, fellow videographer and his fresh new film label Will Shoot for Food was also there with Luke to bring over footage from JDM Allstars Wembley. I’ve started the edit now, and I’m pretty stoked to see how it finally comes out.

Oh, and you can pick up this sticker from Jims Factory, limited stock left!

James, Director of Driftworks is the guy who makes sure this website actually works. The new shop has been causing him to lose sleep, along with his daughter Ella constantly needing Jelly.

Bon thought he was going to get some peace and quiet to work on the technical specs for the new forthcoming Geomaster 2 hub knuckles which are improved and upgraded from the current Geomaster range (more on this very soon), but Socks and the BonMonkey were ruining any peace and quiet he’d get.

Lean business, you shouldn’t hold too much stock, just order in what you need, it’s kaizen, the Toyota way.
