If you're tuning your turbocharged car, you will want to change your spark plugs for 'colder' ones. These dissipate more heat from the cylinder and therefore help to reduce the risk of detonation.
Because the plugs need to reach a certain temperature in order to clean themselves, it's important not to go too cold or you risk fouling the plugs

The BKR7EIX plugs are 2 grades colder than standard and should be used on mildly to moderately tuned cars
BKR8EIX are 3 grades colder and should be used with highly tuned cars


These BKRxEIX plugs are the correct fitment for the SR20DET engine that comes as standard in the S14(a) and S15. Just let us know if you want any NGK plugs for something else and we can get them in next day
