well well, i know paddy to see and none of the rest but you's may have seen my pictures of the D1 Irl series.

i have been shooting motorsport for a few years now mostly rallying as it's huge here in Ireland but when my mates started the drifting championship i tagged along for the craic and love it to bits and it makes interesting pictures. like paddy i was shooting with a fuji S5000 and using a general shutter of about 200 for most things but got me a 350D with 18-55 and 55-200 MKII lens' and a 380ex flashgun.

so mondello was the first round i got to with the new gear and by feck it impressed me with the quality and ease of use i fire it on Tv which sets the aperture automatically meaning i can pan using AI servo and it'l ajust the F rating to the light at the time i'm about to shoot i was shooting anywhere from a shutter speed of 1250 right down to 40 at a point getting some really mad looking results as one small section in centre of the car id perfect focus but the edges tend to blur into the totally gone b/g most of the images i took at 125 or 100 in mondello though with a few at about 200 to get a good chrisp car like paddy captured nicely all images taken at ISO 400

keep up the good work chaps and this is a good thread i have to say also, i am happy with the resiults i got from mondello but please leave feedback of your opinions !
