missy, practice,practice,practice, thats the only way, you could have the best kit money could buy but if your tecnique is iffy so will your results, now youve got the dslr you will be able to see the mistakes straight away and adjust acordingly,rather than getting a roll developed and being dissapointed and tying to remember what you did. i garentee by the end of the weekend and a few hunrdred shots you will have some great pictures, if you find yourself stuck on anything give me a shout i'll be glad to help out
i was in a photographic rut before i got the d100, after birmingham wheels last year the first time i used it i was as happy as a dog with two cocks with the results, got rid of all my gemlins, saying that a new bunch have just moved in now but i'll get rid of those with more experence and practice.
