) From earlier posts it sounds like blagging media access is going to be pretty tough, I'll have to investigate though.
This thread is really educating me on what sort of exposure times to try, I need to keep them a bit faster than I had been (generally stay above 1/100 unless tracking is truly spot on), and I probably don't really need that can of ISO1600 I thought I'd try! (Was hoping for some dirt drops or shredding rubber freeze frames) Terribly inconvenient that the cars are actually going around a corner just as you want to catch them! I can pan with a degree of stability (slightly better than rubbish, after some practise with a camcorder) but haven't got a chance of capturing the cornering dead-on enough to motion blur the background. I'll probably stick to trying for depth of focus effects instead for those sections. The entries looks like an easier place to track for the motion blur, but I prefer the composition of cutting across the apex, more perpendicular - especially with a twin round.
Which tracks give the best access - without needing to be acredited media - that I should especially look out for ? It sounds like I might spend more time enjoying the show at Silverstone then, than trying to capture it on film.
