The Lexus Re-build, phase 3 "Taking it serious"

As i soon will be embarking on a major re-build of the lexus, i thought i would start the topic so that a couple of the other guys involved, or hopefully will be involved can contribute there thoughts and ideas as it progresses

The original build was a track car,and endurance racer, was used mostly in Germany the second re-build was the colour change and minor changes made to turn it into a drifty car

the 3rd build, will be a complete stripdown and re-build, the engine is being changed to a turbocharged 3S_GE from an altezza., it currently uses a tweeked Toyota motorsport N/A 1G-FE

a full weld in cage will replace the facory 6 point TRD cage, this will allow me to ditch the suspension turret braces and floor-chassis braces
the fuel system is being replaced with a fuel cell, i can ditch the non fuel teturn line system and 70litre tank then!!
hopefully stand alone ecu...or at least minimum use of the factory multiplex system, which is truely a pain in the ass to work with

ive yet to decide on what forced induction parts to use...

but the internals will more than likely be TODA low compression pistons and steel crank, Eagle H rods will connect them

as for the head, no definative direction has yet been decided, but the varible valve timing will be disabled

sat on the living room floor at the moment are some of the parts that have arrived from japan.

BORIS Factory 5.12 rinal drive gear and pinion
TRD Engine mounts/gearbox mounts
ORC ultralight flywheel and clutch
HKS oil cooler
El Sport differential mounts
DTEC suspension bushes

sat in the garden is the engine, gearbox..............
