| The D1 is run in a way over here that only the top 40 drifters in the country get out on the Sunday run. The top 30 from each event automatically get through to the next round, and the remaining 10 places are decided by a qualifying round on the saturday. It keeps the standard of drifter out on the sunday run very good, and allows great competition.
The top 30 drifters are issued with a D1 licence. If you fail to turn up to two consecutive events, you loose it. |
