| For the seats:
The only part of the regs that have been relaxed is the one regarding the passenger seat.
This year a FIA seat is not compulsory for the passenger seat.......... but without a FIA seat for the passenger you will not be able take passenger onto the track.
For the drivers seat, the regs remain the same - the drivers seat MUST have FIA approval in the form of an FIA approval label on the seat- the labels are marked with the make and serial number of the seat and approval lists are available to scrutineers so changing labels is not going to work.
If your seat is the EXACT same model as one later approved by the FIA AND you can provide an official letter from the manufacturer stating the details then this may be allowed So to make it clear - no FIA labelled drivers seat - no scrutineering label and no cars are allowed on the track without a scrutineering label on the competition day(s)
