| Yeah just a lot rarer and I have never seen one in the scrapyard.
Generally also, old turbocharged cars have large margins for expensive error.
Turbo/head gasket/big ends go, you have to find replacements... HG/big ends go on a BMW or sierra, you get a new engine for £30 - 100 piece of piss from ebay or scrapyard etc.
Also, personally, I really don't like the s12 - I have no justification, I just think they are horrible crusty cars that give me a bad feeling inside. |
