An S14 is at least £2.5K - as I said, the 12 Ive got cost me £300, and the one Im selling will be up for around £600. Is your first drift car really only for 2nd gear antics - once you get any better you should sell it and buy something for thousands, or maybe its good to be able to stick with what youve got but still be able to mix it and practice on bigger, faster circuits??

They might not be any better for drifting but at least if they fall to pieces you can just transfer your drifty parts to another one for just a couple of hundred, without any real hassle.

This is my point though - they arent anywhere near as good for drifting (IMO) as they are underpowered and heavy, and start life as a family saloon. Admittedly, with any turbo car the HG is more likely to go for instance, but there are benefits (like power and tuneability) that go with it. If it breaks, then find another, same as anything else - I dont think they are that difficult to come by, but then Ive been keeping an eye out for a while now
