Darren qualified 17th, but there were 18 spots (as 2 of the top 16 seeded drivers didn't make it to the event), so he's in but barely... he'll have to step it up for the next round.

FD Atlanta has a lot of elevation change... long downhill entry to the first 2 corners, then uphill for the horseshoe, which sends the drivers back downhill. it definately takes some getting used to... Darren had 5 or 6 practice runs, and another 5-6 runs after qualifying, he looks much better now. I was hanging out a bit with Darren's mum (who was also at D1), she's having fun with everything.

I'll be keeping that other page updated all through the day tomorrow.
