| it's likely you probably won't be able to afford jap for a while, insurance tend to rape 17-18 yr olds for any insurance, let alone jap!
im 20 and got a volvo 340 1.7 and the insurance isnt too bad. I'd imagine a 2lt sierra might be a tad more on insurance at your age, but it'd be worth checking. Unfortunatly BMW's are fairly expensive on insurance when your young as well, but might be worth getting a quote on a 318 e30.
