We normally fill the cars with the gear (to the brim since there not being driven obviously) and its easy to mount Wheel Holders (See pic of our loader with the Yellow Rx7 on it).

We use these over trailers as its a pain in the ass to drive something pulling a trailer in Japan - you need a special license!
