| Its not really worth puting the NA 13b in an MX5, that engine only pushes out around 150bhp in that form, a 1.8 MX5 pushes 135bhp.
RE Amemiya have built a 20b FD3 thats NA, produces around 300bhp (touch over that), im not sure why they made it.... could be a class that they enter in japan for like an NA time attack class.
A good standard 13b with its standard twin turbo setup WILL last 60-70k as long as its looked after, just a standard 13b turbo setup in an MX5 would be totally awesome IMO.
Let me know if you do go ahead with the project as i know a very good rotary tuner who works from home sorta thing. |
