Surely the Rotary can be tweaked to over 150bhp running NA with some nice twin carbs and some funky porting and dont they rev like buggery? (still learing about rotarys).Also with no turbos the engine is so simple to work on! Ive seen some very quick ones running NA!!

Also wouldnt the 13b be lighter than the 1800 MX5 lump and the fact its Carbed would mean the wiring would be a lot simpler as an ECU wouldnt be needed?
Plus I love the sound of a NA Rotary

Im thinking more of a cheap FC RX7 with the NA 13b already in it then spending the rest on tweaking the engine etc! Ive seen them in good condition for as little as £300!!!!!
