Not much of an update, but I feel it shows in some way why a project like this takes so bloody long. All I did today was the wastegate support, and it took five bloody hours

. but hey, at least it's another job off the incredibly huge list.
Basically, because of the position and size of the turbo, and the weight of the wastegate hanging so far forward, I wanted to do everything I could to stop the manifold from cracking. We all know it's going to happen, but at least I can be confident I did everything I could to hold it off as long as possible..
Ant did a superb job of the main manifold support you can see in the picture too, and I've just done the slightly more delicate, and incredibly fiddly wastegate support to match. As I said, it doesn't look like much, but it's one of those really important jobs that will hopefully gain a little bit more reliability in competition
