| I got about 8000 out of mine before blowing it. They were nearly all high rpm track miles though so thats probably quite good for any track/race car I'd have thought. I've got race seals for the rebuild which cost a small fortune but I'm hoping they might cope well with the abuse. The main advantage is that they don't destroy other parts of the engine such as rotor housings when they pop. I don't think anyone should expect a 500bhp car to last that many miles of hard abuse IMO. Look at proper racers; they seem to rebuild every few races or at least every season. |
