Owning a car you can't afford to insure is just plain silly.
It's all well and good saying your dad will insure it, but will he ferry you to every Drift meet and car show you'll ever want to go to for the next 5 years of your life?
Even then, who is going to be paying for the car's MOTs, Tax, repairs and mods? If that's you, then you're a mug for paying for a car you'll only get to use every so often.
My advice would be to prepare for the jolly rogering an insurance company is going to give you when you come to insure it you or sell it and get something you have a hope of insuring cheaply. |
