For e36's m3 evo top mounts fitted the wrong way round is a really useful tip for increasing camber out front (courtesy of the Bon tbh).
Handbrakes are wank in my experience on all but poverty spec 316's with drum rears. Fit drum rears if you dont like brakes but do like handbraking or fit hydro.
Usual stuff, weld, strip, seat and wheel is obv although imo anything 318is and above can live with interior if only to be an occasional practice day type effort whilst remaining a daily.

For my ultimate BMW drifting tip, buy a e28 535. Bestest/Coolest sideways BM I have owned and Im sure others will agree and the lazy torque of the old skool straight 6 produces smokes you JDM boys can only dream of below 300 powahs.
