I had a little nightmare with Machinemart being closed, and not being able to find a set of burrs. But as I had started the port matching, I needed to finish. So I set about the head again with some more stones in the die grinder..
It took another couple of hours, and I'm quite happy with the results
And I've never removed or re-fitted a valve before on any engine, so it took me a while to get the nack of getting the valve locks back in, but I got it down to a couple of minutes per valve after a bit

We got a bit carried away and went to install the new 264 exhast cam, before I remembered the 2jz's different to the 1j, and you can't get to the head bolts with the cams installed

Hopefully the ARP head bolts will arrive tomorrow, and I'm going to have to find a HKS head gasket as well now, as I wasn't happy with how the standard one came off.
All this, and I hope to get the car back together, get it mapped, get it laser aligned, and do a couple of hours testing somewhere before EDC round one on Saturday.
