Maybe they want to 'trust' that their customer wouldn't lie to them?

That they'd want to offer a more competitive deal to someone who had been driving highperformance cars for a while?

As opposed to someone driving around in a mini/punto for a while, then upgrading to something juicy, and telling the insurance company to trust them because they have been driving hardcore motors for years.
