Fair enough you stay together up to the cone... but what if you are blatently outmatched (not due to lack of skill) and left half way down the track due to the other car being stupidly powerful and grippy?

In D1 and EDC breifings, drivers in higher powered cars are told they must not leave a slower powered car behind, they must drive using their mirrors and allow a lower powered car to keep up, once at the cone then they can do what they want.
As for the spin rules, if both cars spin, the driver to spin second wins 10 : 0 as at Teesside with Scotty vs Bruno.
That must be how Julian must read it as he was judging...
I'm sure the BDC will stick to the rules implemented by Mr Smith
