The only way is by car since it's basically just a highway rest stop on an island. The weekend is the time to go, I've not been down on those days before but my mate tells me it'll be pretty dead. From Yokohama at midnight it's really close, even for me a little further away it's under half an hour out there. There are two ways to get to the island, on the tollway and on the free road. Use the tollway to go to the actual carpark where people hang out or the free road to get to where people go drifting. The spots are actually right next to each other so if I were you I'd go to the carpark, hang out and when you hear the sound of tyres walk 25m to the edge of the carpark and watch them drift the intersection below. |
