whats the most powerful VH45 then, i dont know much about them. |
There is a variety of high powered ones mate. The AUZ and NZ guys go mental with them. The Nizpro jet boat has one and was rumoured to be running 1000hp on standard internals. Which seems unlikley to me, but after looking at the engine it's not impossible. Darn things look like indicar engines - they are cross braced and re-enforced all over the shop. One of the guys in NZ was running one on standard internals and 1 bar with 800hp at the wheels in a PS13 with a standard plenum setup.
Done quite a bit of research into them (as i did with other engines while choosing the one i wanted) they are a serious engine. But i will stop rabbiting on untill i have actually built it and had it produce some good power figures. Untill then, it's all bolocks because i have never actually done it myself or seen one running big power with my own eyes. Lots of incouraging stories, pictures, dyno videos and build's though. Very exciting!
