A 535 lacking power? Now thats funny I drive a 318iS E30, and I've seen the odd person with less powerful cars (names 318's and volvo 340's) getting sideways quite well!

A welder will make it MORE understeery until the back end goes, but once the back end goes you will LOVE it.
But to get rid of understeer, at least a bit, strip it out a little and lower and STIFFEN the suspension, less body roll = less understeer at this level.

Oh and make it so your rear seats just pop out really easily, so you can whip them out on a drift day and sling them back in after, as they weigh a tonne.
