I think I maybe getting water transfer from my coolant port through to no.1 inlet port.

all the gaskets look mint and combustion chamber no.1 looks steam cleaned.

in my setup the only thing I have changed is the head. didn't steam with original head.

if I get it upto temp there is a fair amount of pressure in coolant hoses.

then if left over night the coolant header tank level drops about 10mm.

its not crap in the exhaust as I have removed it completely and the steam just comes out the turbo instead. i've bipassed the turbo aswell.


I just had the seats recut @ 3 angles and a clean up of the ports. £150

I don't know what to do!
crack and pressure test is £70

I could use old head and get my newly faced valves put in, may cost a small bit more than pressure test.

not sure.
