yeah it'd be great to get a good solution to this. it sounds like the biggest factor is tyre squeal rather than exhaust note from what's being said. although, limiting exhaust note will most certainly help things.
so how do you reduce tyre squeal? not sure there's anything practical really (like keeping the track wet!). the only thing might be to limit the # of cars drifting at a time, which has been mentioned. i'm not convinced that the big track is louder for reasons other than there's more cars skiddin on it at a time to be honest. could the track be surrounded by a couple of rows of tall trees? might help!

i do have the perfect solution... those noise cancelling earphones that you can get.... someone needs to invent a huge version that works through teeside's PA system, cancelling all the noise... silent drifting ftw!!!
