I passed my test in 2000 when I was 20, so I went out and bought a Renault 5 Gt Turbo, tuned it to a dyno proven 180 ish bhp and that was considered fast......and only 7 years ago. £1275 insurance tpft at the time.
My friends had basic escorts and Fiesta's back then, ahh happy days
