weird day today!
went to fit my new 80oc thermostat to find that my car didnt have one, some muppet had removed it. fitted new one and connected everything back up including the rad. Ill have to remove rad again to fit water pump but wanted to check id got the injectors to seal ok and my copper pipe bodge to work too.
Been trying to bleed the rad, can i do it?hell no. was out there for twenty mins with air still coming from the bleed nipple ontop of rad, am i doing sumat wrong?
Starting to lose enthusiasm quickly, still have nasty running fault which i cant find. runs nice when cold but lumpy and misses when warm. my worrys is it may be HG or nikasil. going to take to bmw and get diagnosed. Problem is no trailor so im kinda stuck at mo as cars in bits ready for cage and its outa tax and mot.
Anyone know someone with a trailor whos near oxford that can help? im really getting my head in dumps with it not running right..so expect me to break it next week!
unless anyone knows some bmw experts that can help?
