Part 2:
Next on the list was a little more oomf! I purchased a polished genuine Greddy forward facing intake manifold from one of Jamies mates and fitted it up to the engine, around the same time Chris kindly donated a cnr racing kr480 turbocharger (i think they are a blitz knock off) he had imported for me to "test" on my car, so after some minor modifications to the standard exhaust manifold on it went and once again the car was sent to pete for some minor intercooler pipe mods and a new vband 3 inch down pipe.
As I had borrowed Chris's link for D1nz I had since returned it, which sorta left me without an Ecu. My flatmate Geoff(expo d chipping) had been dabling into the world of ecu chipping, so i conned him into chipping an r32 ecu to run the 25t and i then hired nzefis dyno for Geoff to do some real time tuning. The end result 339.2rwhp, not much of a jump from last time but the power came on like getting hit in the face with a seesaw!
First outing with the new setup was the terrible excuse for a D1GP qualifying mid 06, and due to my intercooler pipes consistantly detaching themselves during the day i failed to qualify

Ah well you win some you loose some!
