Part 3:
After sorting my teething problems with the intercooler pipes and having used the car fairly successfully at a couple Drift South rounds i (for some strange reason) decided something else had to be done, i needed to build more!

I stripped the front end of the car, as in there is nothing forward of the firewall except the chassis and internal body panels, all the body panels got hung on the walls of the garage and the engine and box took up half the floor. And thats how it all sat for months :S Ill put it down to laziness.

Anywho, rd6 of the first season of Drift South was being held at levels in timaru, the team had been offered 6 new kumho tires for each car as a short lived sponsorship deal, so how could i not use my normal speedy building skills to rig up a car for a round?

My mighty gts sedan stepped up to the plate and after 4 days toiling in my workshop (garage)

the gts emerged, sporting all the good bits from the green car minus the rear adjustable arms. Rb25det and box, cnr racing turbo, big front mount, kakimoto racing exhaust, a 5stud conversion(not from the drifter) boot mounted battery box, locked diff and black bonnet.

I did pretty well in the "B" car, finishing in 6th place overall, a placing I was very pleased with especially after running the day with 3.5degrees negative camber on the rear with 340hp, can anyone say slippery?

A couple months ago, I decided to show off to my missus on the road in the rb25det powered white car and after a speed run and a missfire at 6500 rpm i now had one rb25det with a melted number 6 piston. out came the rb25det and box, in went a rb20det and box and i sold the car(as i always intended) I stripped the rb25det, sold the head and intake to chris. so at this point in time all i have is a turbo and gearbox:S

Back to the green car, I have cut the std strut towers out and spent the last couple of weekends welding in a31 cefiro macpherson strut strut towers, to increase my steering lock, give me camber adjustment in the front and reduce parts that can wear and tear.
