Update Time!
Ive been doing a fair bit of work to the car over the last couple months.
Heres a picture of the engine bay painted (by can)

One of my mcpherson strut setup

I had to notch the crossmember a little so the new engine would fit

Fabricated up some engine mounts and a gearbox mount

And bought a new engine, adapted a bellhousing to fit a toyota w55 5spd geabox behind it

What is it you ask, ls1 5.7litre all alloy injected Chevrolet v8

I figure nissan saved Holden when they loaned them the rb30, so why cant an 02 holden save my nissan?
