| Just checking some random but intellectual looking forum post, it seems that the very early overdrive 265 boxes and the dogleg "sport" 265 boxes were both longer than the 260, but it seems the conventional 265 is the same dimensions.
I never directly swapped my 265 for a 260/5 but I juggled engines which were fitted with both and they always seemed to be the same sort of box. Hopefully all will work out and I'll have a bit of trivia for us all.
Anyone know how to rebuild a 260 gearbox? |
