update

OK !

its update time again and ive been busy today removing the manifolds from the engine and preppin the diff with a welder.

The exhaust manifold studs were a bit of an arse and the rear two snappped (luckily leaving enough to remove them easily) and the front two came out altogether.

Removing the diff after 92,000 miles worth of **** had been driven over was nice ! wasnt too difficult - just mucky

Once it was drained and then removed like the engine/box it was treated to a steam detergant wash much better dont mind touching it now lol.

I can only just read the rusty tag, it says its a 3.9 diff which will give it one of the taller overall ratio's. Not sure what it will be like but I'm sure I will find out soon !

Here it is with the cover off, before welding...

And after...
(A very big THANKS to the legendary Jay Tomkins (the best tool/snap on man in the south west) for doing the welding for me...)

Thats it for tonight, more 2morrow
