Same as most racks - a couple of washers - but if swapping the rack Id be putting on an e36 one - less turns lock to lock which would be alot better - you can get washers/spacers from chizfab as they were selling some.
As for the 3.91 ratio - same as what mine is (except thats a slipper not a welder) - and I find the gears run out to soon for me.... thinking about eventually swapping mine for a 3.73 and see what thats like
