What are your plans?

As far as I have drifting my 340 turbo now, the standard brakes are more than good enough.

Discs on the back is possible. But it needs custom work. Look at VOLVO 340 & VOLVO 360 > Volvo 300 Mania, the ultimate resource for Volvo 300 owners as its discussed there. (and done)

There are ferodo pads for the front, they are good. Stock discs can be replaced for vented ford granada discs, but they need to be machined before the fit.

But, think about it twice, I didn't had any trouble with my brakes. There is even a racecup in Holland, which use stil standard front + rear break setup.

Just maintenance it well, is my advice.
