I've driven several 2 way cars, they drift magically with no effort. Drifting with a welder feels more like you have to deliberately upset the rear end with clutch kicks, lots of power, handbrake, or shift lock etc to send it sideways.

Essentially the 2-way wipes your arse for you, that is the best way of doing it. It does not make the end result "better" apart from perhaps the top 0.5% of drifters in the world who can exploit a 2way, it just makes average drivers drift better as it's easier.

I've been drifting for 3.5yrs, and have been competing this year, and never have I even thought "Darn, I wish I had a 2way".

I guess people see me opinionated but as far as I'm concerned it's the truth, sure why not make life easy if it was £50 welder and £75 2way, but when a 2-way is almost infinitely more expensive it doesn't make sense.
