Essentially the 2-way wipes your arse for you, that is the best way of doing it. It does not make the end result "better" apart from perhaps the top 0.5% of drifters in the world who can exploit a 2way, it just makes average drivers drift better as it's easier.

I've been drifting for 3.5yrs, and have been competing this year, and never have I even thought "Darn, I wish I had a 2way".

I guess people see me opinionated but as far as I'm concerned it's the truth, sure why not make life easy if it was £50 welder and £75 2way, but when a 2-way is almost infinitely more expensive it doesn't make sense.
I completely agree with this, and as an average driver I'm more than happy to drift better due to a two way!! Then I can concentrate on being a better driver instead of doing five or ten different movements going from a big fast corner into a small tight one a la Teeside/norfolk, whereas with a two way I can just point the nose to the apex and footbrake a little, relax and enjoy the feeling.

The other thing I also think although I could be wrong, is that doing it this way is going to be faster because you're not hanging onto the wand all the time to help bring the back around. Bagsey and mr2 are better and faster drivers than me in general but they couldn't keep up with me coming out of the big corner into the small one at Norfolk on the sunday after the comp. They both have welders.
