Can't see there being much point to be honest, they don't come with brackets to make them in to a full cage. Therefore if you ever wanted a full cage you'd be left with a half cage thats only good for show.
Better investing in a full cage and put the front half in to storage if your not a pro-am driver, or if you fit the full cage (which will stiffen your shell and make it skid better) you could always remove the door bars between events if they're a pain, its only 8 bolts after all...
