=299hp, 250ft/lb @ 0.9bar
A friend imported this a while ago. It was the fastest Roadster is Japan for nearly 4 years. The figures above were at the low boost setting (with the wheels spinning on the rollers!). No final maximum figure as all the little black boxes couldn't agree on how to run on high boost (1.2 bar). The guy doing the setup reckoned that with a proper ECU it could make over 350hp. Not sure of all the spec, but it has:
- Air conditioning removed
- TRUST turbine TD06
- HKS metal connecting rods
- 0.8mm metal gasket
- Forged pistons for B6 turbo
- Pistons were made specially as a one off by TODA racing
- Fuel pump from Eunos Cosmo 20BT
- Injectors from NA8 and additional Trust injectors - 700ccX2
- Ported and polished head
- Compression ratio 8.3:1
- Big throttle Body - 60mm
- Twin clutch made by OS Giken
- Oil cooler
- Inter cooler
- Blow off valve
- Apexi AFC
- Apexi ITC
- Trust rebic
- Trust sub CPU profec B
- Full titanium exhaust
Unfortunately it needs to be rebuilt after it bent the connecting rods. Bearing in mind this is a 1600, 265hp should be achievable for an 1800 with the right mods. A lot needs to be uprated if you want reliability though and 1600 brakes are probably a bit weak if you plan to drive hard.
