ive dun a bit more to my volvo but have also run into some problems when i am so close.

Ive got sum more pics of my engine and my turbo pipe out which is now sorted will upload sum pics soon. ive twisted bits around on the turbo, ive also modifyied the oil feed pipe and coolant return pipe on the turbo. ive got all my fuel pump and fuel lines connected up. i am however havin a little trouble with my wiring. i have a volvo wiring diagram for my engine has helped a bit but not totally. basically when i took the engine out i found that the engine wiring loom connected into the rest of the loom through 1 red block connecter which had 5 wires onit. so i figured that i would only need to connected these 5 wires up to get the engine working. but it does not seem that easy at the moment and i dont know why.
the 5 wires on the block connector were, an orange wire which accourding to the volvo wiring diagram is for air conditioning which i dnt have so i dont need that wire. the next wire is a totally grey wire, which is meant to be the wire that comes off the ignition which i have connected up. i then have a grey and red cable which comes off the fuel pump relay and goes to the fuel pump, so i connected that to the positive side of the fuel pump. i am then left with a bright green wire which is connected in the middle of a grey and red cable which runs to the injector area by the looks of the volvo wiring diagram the green wire goes to the electronic dash which i dnt have in the 340 so i should need tht wire either. i am then left with a brown and blue wire, now this is the confusing one, the only wire on the diagram that is brown and blue is a single wire from one ECU to the other ECU with no wires coming off it, yet this wire does come off it and i havent a clue where it goes.
i have check all my earths and they seem to be ok, but basically the fuel pump primes every now and then when it feels like it when i turn the igntion on. which if im rite it should prime everytime i turn the igntion. also when i try to start the car you cant hear the fuel pump going. i have also checked for a spark and i dont seem to have a spark either.
im not sure what ive done rong, if any1 can help would be much appreciated
