Got thoroughly bored shitless of the other half watching frigging oylmpics all week, got sod all money to spend on the electrical wiper fault for the MOT to be done. Had a think about what else the car could do with that won't cost me anything, then EUREKA!!! On a veeeery quiet night shift, 'borrowed' the engineers workshop key to hunt for some goodies. Only thing I could find were a couple of old washers!!!
Then today I got the car in the air, had a look at the rack and arms
Undid said arm and blow me the washers fit quite nicely, a useful 4mm thick too!!!
Put it all back together, and increased lock FTW!!! (need to get in all lined up now
)
Get paid in a couple of days so a BMW techy guy can plug into the diagnostics to find out why the wipers have a mind of their own. Other than that, not really a lot of progress due to having frick all overtime at work, so no spare monies to play with
Seriously thinking about trailering it to a Pod beginner day just to try and skid the damn thing!!!
Also got a mate working something out for the bodywork/paint
