My name is Alan and I'm from Bury St Edmunds in the rolling flatness of Suffolk. I'm currently a university student, studying in Liverpool during term time. I've loved cars for as long as I can remember plus quite a bit before that. I first got interested in the sport a number of years ago after watching a Clarkson's Motorworld on Japan which featured drifting. I had always liked watching cars being driven sideways so this seemed like it would suit me perfectly! It was the good old interweb that really got things going though, various compilations, ripped DVDs and a bit of Initial D got me hooked. Unfortunatly I have only ever been a spectator with an old Citroen then university sucking up most of my money with the spare cash funding R/C car racing, a long time hobby of mine. For the moment I'll bide my time watching drifting and sorting out an R/C drifter although would love to have a go when I'm no longer a tax dodger.
