Does it matter if I don't have a license yet? I haven't done any rounds before but I plan to start next year.

Yeah matt, i get that - and don't get me wrong. Mark is a really top bloke who we all know and love.

But

You can't just orgonise a race series by yourself. There has to be a good support team behind him. What is terrys involvement etc, who else is involved? Where is the funding coming from? What's happened to the whole Autotorque situation. This isn't a NEW series, it's still Drift UK and no anouncement has been made to let anybody know anything at all.

I just find it very odd, after everything has happened - all the cockups, lieing and bullshiting - without question people are signing up to a series they know absoloutly NOTHING about.

Or am i just crazy.

EDIT: "however, i would also like to make the point, that i REALLY hope they do get it all sorted out and it becomes what Terry has been trying so hard to make it over so many years. If it becomes that, i would be really excited about getting the oppertuntity to drive in the series"

This isn't so much "signing up" as stating an interest. Sending Drift UK an e-mail with your name, address and telephone number doesn't commit you to anything.

Aww bless, cheers MR Bizzle i love you too

Please please please be patient. As you will be well aware, trying to organise a full series of events doesn't just happen over night. There are hours, and i mean hours of phone calls, dozens of emails, meetings, meetings about meetings, the list is endless. If you seriously think that since the British Open which was only weeks ago, a full championship could be organised in that time then your wrong.

No body is signing up for anything, they are purely providing us with some data so we can make sure next year runs like clockwork. No cock ups, no lieing no bullshitting.

Please don't assume anything until the press release !

As soon as the I's are dotted, the T's are crossed, the release will be posted on .

If you are vouching for it buddy, then im more than happy. I don't expect things to happen over night, but i do expect some corispondance.

Email will be on it's way today dude.
