| BDC licences Ladies and gents As stated previously you will require a licence to compete at any of the British Drift Championship events during 2008. There are two licences, one for the Am class, one for the Pro class. Any driver who competed in any Eurodrift event during the 2007 season may renew their licence. *This includes the Britsh Open.* Any driver who did not compete during the 2007 season must gain a licence at a licencing day. The reasoning behind this, the standard of driving seen during the 2007 season has risen to such an extent that we can no longer judge individuals from previous events and competitions. We will not be judging drivers for licences on competitions days. At the moment there are two licencing days available, details are as follows; Sunday 13th January at Silverstone Saturday 16th Febuary at Silverstone. Both days will be held using the ATC curcuit. You can book your place here >>> Licencing days We are hoping to have another licencing day in March prior to the first event, however this is not garenteed. We suggest you get your licence asap to avoid disapointment. When attending a licencing day you will be asked to fill in a licence application form. You will also need to bring two passport sized photographs, one with the drivers name on the reverse. The cost of renewing a licence will be £10 The cost of a new licence will be £25 For this you will recieive a credit card style licence which MUST be shown when signing on at BDC events. We are also in talks with various companies to offer discount to BDC licence holders, more details of these offers to follow. Drivers renewing their licences can make payment via paypal to bdc@live.co.uk This is the prefered method ! Please try and use paypal! As a last resort please pm for payment by credit card or cheque. Please make sure you include; Your name and address so we can send your licence back to you. Please send photos to BDC PO BOX 496 BOSTON PE21 6JX Again, please make sure your details are including when sending photographs. Drivers attending licencing days, please bring cash only. Many thanks The BDC Team. Last edited by BDC : 10-01-2008 at 10:17. Reason: Post code change on address |

We did not state where this/they maybe held. We as an organisation are running the BDC as a championship, if a driver is prepared to travel the length and breadth of the country to compete, then they will be prepared to travel to Silverstone to gain a licence to achieve this. It is impossible to please all the people all of the time, we will do everything we can to make our decisions as fair as possible. Many thanks The BDC team. | |
