I'll be putting you a harness rail in, but if you wish to mount the belts to the floor you can do so but it needs to have a flange welded to the floor, i would say the standard bolt holes would only just be up to it.

Clarkey.

the downward angle of your rear harnesses shouldn't exceed 45 degrees to the horizontal.

i run with the standard mounting holes for the last 2 seasons with no issues

Its getting a bit silly isnt it? I mean spending £50 on a bit of sponge

The list is never ending! This was meant to be an affordable motorsport.

Rant over...

Padding isn`t silly, it stops you smashing your head open on the metal bars right next to your head.

It is affordable motorsport, you try doing any other form of motorsport for the costs it takes to do BDC.

People should stop winging about the cost of safety gear cause you can`t be made alive for £50 after your dead, or worse still retarded. But if your not putting cage padding in maybe you`ve already hit your head on it

Yeah because the FIA stuff isn`t just sponge. Its tested to be able to absorb the inpacts of a head, not like some random pipe insulation.

Arguing about it is stupid. An unpadded cage is dangerous. End of.

If its not FIA, its not good enough. Even if its the same spec its not tested so you can`t say either way. Would you rather risk it or know your safe?

Exactly paul.

Remember to do the passenger side if you wanna take passengers out at any point in the event weekend if your alloud.

I don't see why they wouldn't let you enter, as they don't no the state of your car when you enter over phone/internet. But im pretty damn sure you won't be allowed out on track as your car won't be upto spec. Simple math realy
