| ACU Gold stickers can be applied to helmets that are suitable for BIKE motorsport and not CAR motorsport therefore as a indication of suitability for drifting they are useless as the helmet may be ok but may not ..... if an ACU gold and a relevent sticker are there then the helmet is fine but definately not with just an gold or a gold with a EC 2205 sticker. its best to get a helmet that complies as such, 4-19. Drivers must wear approved fire protective apparel and safety device/s with a minimum equipment level of: Crash helmet (open face helmets are allowed although we recommend full face), racing overalls, racing boots, gloves and balaclava. Optional equipment recommendation: Fire proof undergarments and HANS device. Crash helmets must bear one of the following standards: FIA8860-2004, SNELL SA2005, SNELL SA2000, SFI 31.1A. 31.2A, BS6658 Type A/FR, BS6658-85 Type A. NO other helmet standards are allowed |
