Scrutineering question need answering ASAP please!!

Im wanting to buy a second hand recaro bucket, but when i asked the guy about it having an FIA sticker he said there isnt one on there?

I thought all recaro buckets were FIA?? especially the SPG although it is fairly old?

If i was to buy this seat would it pass scrutineering??

Thanks for any help
Will.

Recaro SPG is an FIA approved seat though, so surely even without an FIA sticker stuck to it, it would be acceptable?? Or is it more of an insurance issue of no sticker no cover? I could understand if it was a Ultratronic 3000 bucket seat made in Uzbekistan but... Recaro SPG?

out of date is fine, as long as the seats are in good condition no cracks etc etc

yup insurance, also there is no method of confirming the seat

the rules state it must have a FIA homologation, without the label, there is no proof of homologation
